But with the title of 'upperclassmen', we now gained many new responsibilities. The first we had this year was magazine sales. Previous sales records were broken as we sold more this year than had ever been sold. Mitch Lade was the top seller and won a ski trip to Colorado. Many other juniors won various prizes for their efforts. The second project we took on was the bonfire for homecoming. We were in charge of getting the traditional 'T'on the west hill ready for the big night. Many juniors worked hard to make our part of Homecoming Week a success. Prom was our last big activity of the year. As juniors, we were in charge of everthing. We had to pick a theme and colors for the dance and we also had to arrange the dinner. We found out that it wasn't as easy as we had anticipated. But we had a lot of help from our sponsors Mrs. Frost and Miss Muller. We all thank them (or their time and effort in making this year's Prom a successful evening. Pella 'waves' goodbye to his junior year! 22

Zjwo yJear.'t J-t jt J nd (Counting . . . Two years left and counting was the thought of many of us when we first walked into school as Sophomores. Our first main project was to decide on a Homecoming theme. We finally came up with the theme ,Heaven and the colors light blue, blue, and silver. We also had to sell jewelry, calendars, and etc. to raise enough money to pay for the D.j.'s and for other expenses that went along with Homecoming. Class rings were the big thing this year since we had been waiting for them fora long time. Also, since most of us were just turning sixteen we really looked forward to getting our licenses. This way we could go cruising without out parents tagging along. Altogether, this year has been a great year, even with Biology! 24
