English Spanish ROBERT BEADELL, our English teacher is originally from Chicago, III. He attended the University of Nebr. for 6 years receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and Master of Fine Arts Degree in playwriting. He is married and his wife's name is Ginny. He likes to see students who enjoy reading and doing creative writing. BARBARA HILL, our English teacher, is from Winside, Nebr. She graduated from the University of Nebr. with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, majoring in K-12 English with a 7-9 Social Studies Endorsement. She and her husband Roger have 2 children, Kathryn and Nathan. She likes teaching because it's a learning experience, always challenging and continually changing. JEANNETTE PALMER, our Spanish-English teacher, is from Emerald, Nebr. She attended the University of Nebr. for her Bachelor of Arts Degree and has graduate hours beyond that which include Media Specialist with K-12 Endorsement. She and her husband have a 16 month old son. She finds teaching to be academically stimulating with a variety of tasks and challenges, and she enjoys the students. In the Business Department are two teachers that are always busy. Ted Harshbarger graduated from Southeast High School in Stella, Nebraska. He then went on to Peru State College and graduated, attending UNL for masters. Mr. Harshbarger received a B.S. in Business Education and Business Administration. Leroy Loew grew up in Hale, Missouri and attended college at Central College in Fayette, Missouri; Tarkio College, Peru State, Kearney State, and UNL. He received a B.S. and Masters of Education in Business Education, and a Masters of Education in School Administration. Mr. Loew and his wife, Norma, have two grown children, Gary and Lisa. Mr. Loew and Mr. Harshbarger, enjoy students who want to learn. 26

LARRY ANDERSON: Teaches American Government, U.S. History, Psychology, and Geography. VIRGIL BLUMHORST: Teaches Social Studies 7, Social Studies 8, and World History. Mr. Larry Anderson was born in Omaha and raised in Pawnee City. He attended college at Peru State for four years and spent one summer at Doan College. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree. His major was Social Science and his minor was General Science. His wife Carolyn teaches in Aurburn. They have two children, Kip age eleven and Karey age six. Mr. Anderson likes the challenge of working with young people and watching them progress over the years. Mr. Virgil Biumhorst was born on a farm near Talmage, Ne. on March 1, 1919. He attended college at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1941 and a Masters degree in 1969. He also received an Education Special degree in 1973. His wife's name is Rose and they have no children. Mr. Biumhorst likes meeting new students and sharing the knowledge of history with them. Well, Freud said that ... 28
