MR. STEIDLE teaches High School Marching and Concert Band, Pep Band. Stage Band, Seventh and Eighth Grade Band, Elementary Band, High School Chorus, Swing Choir, Triple Trio, Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus and assortments of Trios, Duets, and Solos. Band Chorus KEN STEIDLE originally came from Wheeling, Illinois and now lives in Lincoln, Nebraska. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan from 1967 to 1969 and from 1970 to 1976 he attended Ball State University where he received his B.A. in Music Education and his M.A. in Music. Mr. Steidle enjoys the personal friendships that are created by the students and himself. He has 2 sons - Kenny 8 and Kyle 4' 2. Ellen, his wife, goes to the University of Lincoln College of Law. Mr. Steidle’s hobbies are computers, chess, photography, tennis, golf and flying model airplanes. He and his family enjoy camping. Mrs. Grot thinking hard or hard at work? LINDA TEMPLEMEYER — Art I, II, III, Junior High Art, and Elementary Art. Every year the Art students work hard and try to make different and unique projects. After completing their work of art. Mrs. Tem-plemeyer, judges it to see if it goes to the Art Fair held in March. MRS. TEMPLEMEYER, our Art teacher, is from Nebraska City. She attended Peru State College receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She and her husband, Don, have three children: Zak, Toby, and Heidi. The part about teaching she likes most is working with the students and helping them improve their talents. She tries to make art exciting and enjoyable. Most of the students would say that she is their favorite teacher because she can really relate to their feelings. 24

Accounting I II, Business Machines, and I 11 1 Typing I. The Business Department enjoyed increased V l VJf II I O O enrollment and a very good group of enthusiastic students. In the Business Department are two teachers that are always busy. Ted Harshbarger graduated from Southeast High School in Stella, Nebraska. He then went on to Peru State College and graduated, attending UNL for masters. Mr. Harshbarger received a B.S. in Business Education and Business Administration. Leroy Loew grew up in Hale, Missouri and attended college at Central College in Fayette, Missouri; Tarkio College, Peru State, Kearney State, and UNL. He received a B.S. and Masters of Education in Business Education, and a Masters of Education in School Administration. Mr. Loew and his wife, Norma, have two grown children, Gary and Lisa. Mr. Loew and Mr. Harshbarger, enjoy students who want to learn. 26
