Continued from page 16. The Junior class was in charge of the bonfire for homecoming. They used the T” on the hill and one evening was spent clearing it out. After this was completed, some members experienced more excitement. Laurie Goracke and Lloyd Kettelhake represented the class as Junior attendants. Junior members were involved in all winter sports. Both girl’s and boy's basketball teams consisted of many Juniors and these members were real assets to the two teams. The wrestling team had a lesser turnout of members from this class but Scott Shuey, Steve Parrish, and Kevin McKinney did a nice job of representing the Juniors. Members of the class were also an important part of the golf and track teams. Several members who chose not to compete in sports found they were counted on to keep statistics and records. When the class was called upon to provide the soup for the soup supper given in memory of Darren Mattheis, once again they pulled through with each member donating one gallon. Several individuals were involved in special academic contests and most all took skills tests to find possible unknown abilities.
