Also, for the first time the play was performed on the floor in the new gymnasium. For many years a melodrama such as this had not been performed in the high school. The cast and crew used all the techniques needed to produce a melodrama. They used background piano music to announce the characters, and for the overture and the curtain call. Because of the necessity of changing scenery in the three acts and lack of curtains to pull because of the unique staging, Bowery Movers developed a show to entertain the audience as they changed sets. Jack Merriwell, you are under arrest. Must I deputize someone to assist me or will you come without resistance?

PROM The Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom was held May 2, 1975. The theme was A Time For Us. After the meal was served, the waiters and waitresses sang A Time For Us. The juniors did a great job of decorating the gym for the dance. The bowling alley was open and a breakfast was served for all juniors and seniors and their dates. Don Grof, president of the junior class, gave the welcome. Good talk and good food made the banquet a success. The theme of the prom was carried out in the decorations. The head table was the first to be served. 20
