Mr. Touchdown The dance floor Junior Class Skit HOMECOMING The Tecumseh Indians began their annual Homecoming celebrations October 4, 1962, with a bonfire rally downtown. The following evening the Indians met the Falls Citv Tigers on the football field and defeated them 33 to 0. During half time of the game King Willis Bohling (standing in for Bob Parrish) and Queen Dianne Gates crowned the 1962 royalty, King Larry Weyers, and Queen Sarah Steinmeyer. Crownbearers were Kirk Warden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Warden, and Virginia Hutt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hutt. After the game the Homecoming Dance was held in the high school auditorium, which had been beautifully decorated by the Y-Teens and Key Club. Entertainment was provided during intermission by several vocal groups. Music for the dance was supplied by Gilbert Floerke's band. The sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ettleman and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Little. The other candidates for King and Queen were Gary Waring, Dave Little, John Swanson, Bob Dillaplain, Diane McPherrin, Karen Rosakrans, Ann Goracke, and Linda Fricke.

The dance floor SWEETHEART DANCE The royalty dance The annual Sweetheart Dance, sponsored by the Sophomore Class, was held on February 23,1963 in the high school auditorium. Allen and Sherry clown 6 During intermission the Sophomore attendants, Cheryl Christensen and Bruce Haughton, crowned the newly chosen king and queen, Bob Dillaplain and Diane McPherrin. Entertainment was supplied by Joan Berner who sang Sweetheart of T.H.S. The other attendants were: Juniors, Ruth Bartels and Charles Lacey; Freshmen, Debbie Olsen and Robert Miller. Candidates for King and Queen were: Gary Waring, Dave Little, John Swanson, Linda Fricke, Karen Rosakrans, and Margaret Little.
