King Jim Reed and Queen Ann Goracke were crowned at intermission by last year's royalty, Larry Fleck and Jo Anne Hebner. The theme, Peppermint Hop was carried out with red and white candy canes in the center of the floor and on the walls. The thrones were beautifully decorated with blue and gold. During the evening some time was spent trying some of the current dances. Attendants were: Steve Rohrs, Richard Peterson, Harlan Ebeler, Carol Bischoff, Dona Stoner, and Marilyn Barden.

Seniors mingle after the dinner The bird chirps. Gloria spins a few SENIOR DINNER On December 8, 1962, the Senior Class of T.H.S. and their honored guests traveled in a caravan of cars to Auburn where they held their senior dinner at Arbor Manor. The elegant surroundings, and seasonal music provided by Sarah Steinmeyer, Loretta Petersen, Diane McPherrin, and Linda Fricke helped to give everyone the Yuletide spirit. Mr. Spear, as speaker, provided a few words to guide the class after graduation. After the delicious three-course meal, they returned to Tecumseh where music and dancing were provided for the enjoyment of those who attended. The decorations for the dance were centered around a large mural picturing a winter landscape with the theme ’’Wonderland by Night” written at the top. Various colored stars appeared in the many doorways to complete the scene.
