L eading characters were “Dick Reynolds” and “Pee-wee Smith”, with comic interests supplied by “Tweety” and “Daisy”. The hilarious sheriffs, “T ern Marblehead” and “Miss Emma Burpee”, become involved in a startling situation because the house was built on the county line. After the sheriffs were considerably confused, ten-year old Daisy brought the case to a conclusion. Thursday evening students met at the school and marched downtown, where a rally was held. The senior football boys gave short talks and expressed their wishes for a victory over Falls City the next night. On Friday afternoon a parade was held, consisting of the band, floats, and the football players, who rode in new cars given for the parade by the local dealers. The Tecumseh football team gained a moral victory by holding the strong Falls City Tigers to a 0—0 stalemate. It was the first time since 1943 that the Indians were not defeated by Falls City. At the half time Shirley Quinn and Pat Burns were crowned Homecoming Queen and King by Y-Teen President JoEllen McNergney. After the game, a dance was held in the auditorium.
