The club sold at several home football and basketball games. The Pep Club helped to sponsor the annual Football and Basketball Banquets and sponsored a high school dance. Ken Ramsey Guard Fred Boyden Quarter-Lack John Higgins Tackle John Burns End Indians have successful season-- L'nder the leadership of head coach, Don Anderson, in his first year at T.H.S., the Indians ended a successful season. The hopes of a first game victory were smashed when the Indians were defeated by a strong Falls City team 26-0. Nebraska City, undefeated during their entire season handed the Indians a 32-13 setback in a hard-fought battle. At Wymore, the Indians hit their low-point, being downed 12-7. The next five games ended in victories for T.H.S. In the Humboldt game,the victory hungry Indians trounced the visitors 69-0. After an easy victory, the Indians ground out a 25-0 victory over Feru in the first annual homecoming game. In the Ashland game, the second team played the entire second half and the Indians eased to a 33-14 triumph. Tecumseh, in their toughest game since Nebraska City, defeated the highly rated Auburn eleven 19-7. The final gane of the season, in which the regulars played less than half, ended in a 40-6 victory.
