Banquet Prom Set in Emerald Forests On April 23, 1988, the Junior Class sponsored the Prom and Banquet for the Senior Class. With the help of the Art Department the W.P. Woods Alumni Center was transformed into the Emerald Forest. Students and guests enjoyed a meal followed by a pro- gram featuring John Marrs and Tony Collins' slide show of Senior baby pictures. Also on the program were singers Melissa Hembree, Heather French, Angel Sparks and Chase Rutledge. Junior Class President, Brian Capps, introduced Chase Rutledge and Shelly Ninness as the Prom King and Queen. Students concluded their evening by dancing to the music provided by disc jockey, Ronnie Kaye. Heather French sings Ronnie Kaye keeps those records spinning at the Prom. Brian Capps. The Greatest Show on Earth Honors Athletes The Spirit Club chose The Greatest Show on Earth for the All- Sports Banquet theme. The circus decorations and food were the result of Mrs. Chlouber's hard work and planning. All athletes were honored and all sports were included.
