Spirit of '86 Karen and Sam. alias Dracula and Little Bo Peep At Spanish Club’s Halloween party, Denea White, dressed as Frankenstein, scared Little Bo Peep, Karen Dennis, to death. Denea’s was the scariest costume, Karen’s the most original. Most likely to attract was Diane Cun- ningham with her per- sonalized Madonna costume. It must have worked because she at- tracted Punk Dracula, Wayne Folks. Each of these were awarded a prize for their costumes. Julie Shankle and Sam Nye, winners of Independence day, are pictured on the left. Ramona Greeting is pic- tured below, she was the Hippie day winner. Average day at THS Fall 9

Savages on a Tiger Hunt! M. J and Ronnie to the rescue, maybe SENIORS Sports arc not just the competition between two teams, or opponents. The people are what make the sport. Although others may not realize it the athlete gives up a lot to play and they get more than just the thrill of winning and knowing they are 1 in return. The person who has the guts, the stamina, and the inner strength to endure after school practice and long hours in the gym or on the field get a lot back — friendships with teammates, thoughts of the game they won at the last second, and memories to cheerish long after the pic- tures are faded and the trophies are tarnished. Senior team members pictured above left are: Juan Sanchez, Eddie Aguirre. Billy Rogers. Jay Malone. Josh Inda, and Patrick Straughan Bottom row: Trey Williams. Steve Thoendel, Keith Chlouber. Ronnie Little Axe. and Mickey Ware The seniors all felt they could have had a better season but are glad they played. They also said that they hoped next year's team had a great season and wish them good luck”. Football 11
