T.H.S. Spooks Up Fun Our organizations had a spree during the Halloween season. Beta Club sponsored a dress-up day and had a con- test for the best costume. Tyra Cobb won first place as Cleopatra. Chris Gregg, as Oliver Hardy, and Kaen Dennis as Little Bo Peep, tied for second. Homecoming week was also around this season. Spirit Club sponsored a dress up week. Monday, Hippie day; Tuesday, 60’s day; Wednesday, Independence day; Thurs- day, Sunday Best; and Friday, savage day. Sam Nye and Julie Shankle were the winners of Independense day, Ramona Greeting was the Hippie day winner. These are pictured in costume on Pg. 9. Meow, Carol Peace, Mrs. Elder.

Spirit of '86 Karen and Sam. alias Dracula and Little Bo Peep At Spanish Club’s Halloween party, Denea White, dressed as Frankenstein, scared Little Bo Peep, Karen Dennis, to death. Denea’s was the scariest costume, Karen’s the most original. Most likely to attract was Diane Cun- ningham with her per- sonalized Madonna costume. It must have worked because she at- tracted Punk Dracula, Wayne Folks. Each of these were awarded a prize for their costumes. Julie Shankle and Sam Nye, winners of Independence day, are pictured on the left. Ramona Greeting is pic- tured below, she was the Hippie day winner. Average day at THS Fall 9
