That is why this '66 SAVAGE yearbook will always share a special place in our memories. Four years ago most of us launched our jour- ney here together as freshmen—some of us started together as far back as the first grade— and now. soon we. the class of 1966, will be leaving this school, and with us we will take our individual dreams and thoughts and memories, many of which were molded in these halls and classrooms. To the underclassmen, we wish success and the fulfillment of all your dreams. Dedication Mrs. Lucille Attebery You have been more than an instructor of learning to the Seniors of 1966. Without your guidance and un- derstanding we would have been lost. You have devoted precious time and effort in order to make our many at- tempts toward success rewarding. You have willingly shown us the true meaning of a friend. We have confided our numerous hopes and sorrows into your ears, and you have uplifted our spirits. We want to say “thank you for your graciousness; therefore, we dedicate our yearbook, which is the important part of our Senior year to you, a loyal friend who has never failed us, “our Mis. Attebery.” To the Seniors - Thank you for showing your appreciation to me for the work we have done together. If I had known you less I would not grieve--seeing the year has nearly run its course. Walking through the halls and classrooms where we so often meet now, their emptiness will oppress me when you are not there. But as you surge along into the future where your dreams will grow, 1 shall watch and rejoice in your progress, thinking maybe I had a small part in the fulfill- ment of your goal. - Lucille Attebery Board of Education LEFT TO RIGHT: Bob Ivey, Member; Bill Walch, Vice-President; Phil Cannon. Yearbook Advisers A TRIBUTE TO NOMAN As the days and weeks pass, our sorrow becomes easier to bear. When one is missing out of three hundred students, each of us feels the loss. Noman was a friend to everyone. He shared his laughter and warm smile with all in whom he came in con- tact. Not only the students but also the teachers miss his encouraging remarks and earnestness. Yes, Noman no longer walks the halls of Tecumseh High School as we do today, but he is still with us in mind, if not in body. An inspiring memory as lasting as his will remain a symbol for all.
