A 4. 1. . i , . , X ,J if IIH W Ng IN ME MORIAM2 FOR MR. FRED SOUKUP T was with afeeling of great sadness that we learned of the passing on of this beloved teacher of Tech- nical High. He consistently stood for those endear- ing qualities of understanding, rugged individuality and honesty, for which those, who were fortimate enough to know this man, admired and respected him. When in his company, they knew they were with a true friend. We shall think of him as typifying the best of hu- man qualities. As we look back, we shall always be able to visualize him as he moved with quick and de- cisive steps down the corridor with his favorite book tucked under his arm, prepared to read during the first free moment. He will be greatly missed. MR. JOHN NYENHUIS Who taught woodshop and drawing E gave in full measure of his time and effort to make of Buffalo Technical High a better school. For 43 years he served the students and faculty with devotion. Never too busy to lend a helping hand, he worked faithfully in many and varied offices.--As treasurer of money for the school activities, in charge of seating arrangements for the school, and as acting assistant principal for the school year of 1946-47. Everyone who knew him misses his pres- ence here at Tech. We wish him good luck.
