The library and all its facilities are a great service to students J. Mruz, T. Antil, D. Nelson, J. Gohmann. Without its special services' program, the ehiciency of Tech's operation would be greatly lacking. Students are aided in every possible Way through the health, guidance, library, at- tendance, and audio-visual services offered. The library offers not only recreational reading but many a Techite has put in hours of research Work. Records of students, interest, aptitude and achievement tests can be obtained from the guidance service. This service has helped individuals with both personal and academic problems. The school nurse sees to the health needs of the entire student body through exami- nations and the many tests administered. Needless to say, special services are a Vital part of Tech. Mr. Ralph H. Foremost Efficiency Feeding about 550 students in three lunch periods a day is no minor task but the cooks at Tech meet the challenge well. Besides serving regular meals they often cater to other organi- zations and groups which use the building after school hours. The maintenance crew keeps the building clean and in good running order. They often are called upon to perform extra tasks for students Who forget their books in locked rooms or need their assistance in some other Way. Some of the janitors also double as bus drivers to transport students to and from school and to and from school related activities. Preparing the day's menu are Tech's cooks-Mrs. Ann Meyer, Mrs. Ruby Thompson, Mrs. Clara Pung, Mrs. Martha Anderson.
