lIONllliAliY lllillil lZA'l'l0N Scholarship, leadership, character, and service are the four ideals characterizing National Honor Society members. Each year there are two induction ceremonies. Selection of members is the joint responsibility of faculty and students and is done on an objective basis. By accepting this honor, a member pledges to uphold the ideals of the society, not only while he attends school, but also for a life of useful- ness in the years ahead. Several projects were initiated during the year. Senior members put an honor system into effect whereby students took examinations without an instructor being present. Members also sold book covers, pep ribbons, sponsored a pencil vending machine in the oflice, and participated in the All School Carnival. The Mothers Day Banquet closed the yearys activi- ties.
