Senior Class of 1954 Senior History As the clawn of our years at Tech began, we enterecl into life at 'Il-ch with youthful en- thusiasm. An initiation assembly was conduct- ecl hy F. KI. Hertla, principal. N111 Hercla tolcl us the cIo's and clonlts of life at Tech. Une of our first responsibilities was to elect our class officers. They were Cary' Larson, presiclentg Dale Daniels, vice-presiclentz Donna XVa1'fielcI, secretary: and Patricia Basil, treasurer. The executive council, which represented our hoineroolns, assisted the officers. It wasnt until the first Iioinecoming that we really felt at home at Tech. It was 1951, Charlotte Boos was crowned queen, and we cheered ourselves hoarse at the football game, hoping to 'istrip the Polars hears .
