Many times you have heard someone say, well technically speaking this is true? They might have meant that according to a law of physics or a theorem in math a certain thing should work out all right. But to many when the words technically speaking are used they mean the way l see it ------ The theme of this yearbook centers around the idea that TECH- nically speaking is anything said by Tech students. We have used the jargon of Tech students to help you remember your wonderful years at Tech. As you turn the pages we hope you will find just what you ex- pected and even more. On each division page you will find a tiger who is speaking in the form of a picture. This picture rep- resents the place where the people in that division work. To give you a yearbook and say that the theme is utechnically speaking and then not let you hear any of the sounds of Tech would be rather sillyg therefore, a record comes with the yearbook so that you will re- member better graduation and Tech Tantrums. The Tiger Staff wishes to thank Ed Malley of the Springfield Daily News Staff for his picture which ap- pears on the Ads division page, and many thanks to Shawinigan Resins Corporation for allowing us to take a picture of their lab which appears on the end sheets.
