shirley busch with her spirit and friendly smile, it's easy to see why shirley is such a terrific major- ette. she's got another side too-shirley's undoubtedly one of ths's greatest artists. she'lI soon take advantage of this talent in college or art school. nancy canal five feet and five inches of pure energy, nan is always doing somethingvbe it playing the accordion, swimming, boat- ing, water skiing, or reading. after graduation, off she goes again-to junior college and medical technology. martin buxton as student council president, marty is called upon to represent teaneck high school in many capacities. we know everyone looks upon this with a little more admiration when they see the type of person we elected as our leader. we know he'll be equally successful in college. daniel e. i. canning if you happen to get pounced on from behind while stalking the halls, it's probably danny. if you happen to hear the pounding of drums or the zoom of a sports car at the same time, it's definitely danny. in any case, don't move too sud- denly-he's quite a shot with a rifle. donald cameron don't underestimate our don. never have we known such neatness and loyalty in one person. yes, he will succeed in college. joan ann campagna joan assures us she'll never tor- get her teachers. they assure us they will never forget her thoughtfulness and bright smile. when there's no football game, joan might be drawing or sew- ing, we assure joan that these talents plus her friendliness mean assured success as a merchandiser or buyer. the assembly applause that went on . . . and on . . . leon cantor leon has a ready sense of humor and outstanding athletic ability., his inner confidence will lig t the way for an undoubtedly bright future. his leisure mo- ments are spent listening to folk music and gaining new friends. diane lynne capello when diane isnt TWIflIl'1Q she can be found horseback-riding. when she isn't horseback-rdiing, diane can be found singing. we'll remember diane for her happy-go-lucky outlook on life. diane will remember mr. arone as being all right.

alan bromley a sharp mind has many uses, alan has used his to make many friends, participate in numerous school activities, and make our classes lively and interesting. his wit has brought many laughs from fellow students, we know it will bring many more at college. ronald buchthal for the past three years, ronnie has been on the soccer team, and has provided many laughs for mr. powley and his team- mates. ronnie enjoyed those nights out with the guys, and he will have many more good times at college. cornelia broth erton neiI's special talent is people, as is seen by her participation in young life and her aspiration for a career in library science. swimming and dog-walking are her favorite forms of relaxation . . . and the '60 thanksgiving game is her favorite memory. veronica buffington the boys know that ronnie plays the accordion and loves dancing, but do they know of her in- terest in science? this popular beauty will get along equally well with people in the com- mercial art field. thetcontinental craze . . J r I kathleen brown beautiful in every sense of the word is the only way to de- scribe kathy. blonde hair, rosy cheeks, and quiet appearance belie a vivacious personality. an amateur poet and handwriting analyst, kathy's headed for college. cheryl bullwinkle cheryl is one girl with a turned- up nose who could never be called a snob. in fact, she's one of the friendliest seniors we know. when cheryl becomes a dietician after college, we know she'll still be one of the smilingest members of the class of '62. norma brown norma's sincerity and concern for others will undoubtedly help her whether she enters social work or nursing. meanwhiIe'she is active in many youth groups, plays the piano, and sings. we wish her luck. valerie e. burton val enjoys the three r's- readin', ridin', and rockin' and rollin' at tean clan. class pic- nics, the washington trip, and graduation rank among her fondest memories. read or not, college, here comes van aiming for a career in education.

ioanne carle all through high school we've smiled with ioanne who was welcomed everywhere, not only because of her cheerful smile and pretty face but also for her willingness to work hard. to ioanne belongs a lively spirit and sense of humor that make every- one around her happier. joan carter joan is the lively captain of the ths cheerleaders, and it's no wonder that they do such a terrific job. she's a rare kind of leader, one who is respected and liked by everyone who works with her. with intelligence and spirit we know she'll do equally well in college. vincent carnevale the villian has us back against the wall and is about to run us through with his sword. there is only one person we can think of now. we only hope that vince, the fencing master, is not too busy with his pupils to save us. robert h. case don't make bob mad . . . he is an expert marksman. bob has won prizes in shooting compe- tition, which will add to his value at the air force academy. buttered straws on the cafeteria cei i raphaeline carratura rlae's thoughtfulness and her wide range of interests will help her to become a successful teacher. at present, aside from her interests in curricular and extracurricular activities, rae en- joys singing -an interest she can further develop in the future. sal casola smiling, happy sal has enjoyed ths, and we can truthfully say that we have enjoyed all those jokes that Iivened up our classes. sal's sense of humor and natural attraction for people will win him many friends and much success. edna carter eddi's quiet sincerity and subtle humor will serve her well in her journalism career. the teaneck speakers and the nfl are fortun- ate to have her intelligence and warm personality. john castella no jack feels the call of duty, and after graduation he will enter the air force. his friends can count on him for help, and we hope he will serve his country as well. lil
