Tanya Shaw, Kella Small Icrlmn Morris V The Ir. High cheerleaders were the faces seen smiling up at the crowds at the Ir. High football games. They were the ones who cheered for the team in victory or defeat and never lost hope for a come- back. These girls began long practices in the summer and continued to work all through the year to raise school spirit.

GIRLS, TRACK TEAM T KES OFF RUNNIN The Ir. High track teams worked hard this year. They competed in track meets in our area and repre- sented our school well. On cold mornings one might see the dedicated athletes running around the ice-cold track or practicing the field events. Their startled nerves in their body shiver and cause the run- ners numb legs to itch. Their tired muscles and aching feet tremble from overwork. The end results of all their work reveals itself at the track meets where each gives his all and goes home either victorious or defeated.
