SENIORS ‘TOMORROW Cathy Brown, Secretary Valerie Brown, Treasurer Jeff Price, Vice President Bram Massie, President Class Colors: Purple and Silver Class Flower: Pink Rose Class Motto: “To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.” f= PEOPLE” CLASS OF 1989 Four years ago, the halls of T.H.S. seemed uninviting, and the faces we met there were often unknown. Now, as we tread these same halls, meeting the same faces, we are aware that the place seems like home, and many of the people as close as family. We leave Tazewell High School with a strange mixture of jubilation and regret. We celebrate our freedom from between these walls, but acknowledge that we will miss the experiences — the good times and the bad, the challenges and the victories, but especially the friendships — that these four years have allowed us. Our Senior year was fike most: an action-packed 180 days, some incredibly stressful and others just plain fun. Together we confronted the dual tasks of completing high school and preparing for life beyond it. There were S.A.T.’S and A.S.V.A.B.’s, mailboxes filled with college advertisements, visits to campuses, and — finally — there was the difficult choice that would help to determine our future paths. We go now in many directions: to colleges and universities, to the service of our country, to occupations, to homemaking. Confidently we embrace the future.
