Bill Brown President Lois Peery Secretary Miss Mary Lewis Sponsor Motto: Find a way or make one. Colors: Orchid and White Flower: Iris Lewis Slaughter V. President Tommy Noakes Treasurer Seniors To become Seniors and graduate was our goal for four long years. We spent many long hours doing homework and just worrying about homework undone. But as the day which would end it all. the day of graduation, approached, we realized that the occasion would be a very dear, but very sad one for those 221 Seniors. We had entered these hallowed halls as eighth graders. We may have been smallest in size, but certainly not in success. Cherry Harman as President for our class led us to greatness in all things we did, along with Renny King as Vice President, Marty Van Dyke as Secretary, Brenda Baldwin as Treasurer, and under the sponsorship of Mrs. Helen Tiller. As our Cheerleaders we chose Susan Royall, Sharon Santolla, Judy Hayes, Josie Whitt, Pat Young, Leanna Cole, Debbie Beavers, and Liz Osborne. As the months flew by wejoined various organizations and participated in many extracurricular activities. It took time but we eventually came to feel as though we belonged. That year we chose Pat Young and Bill Brown the Best Eighth Grader. With one year of our high school career behind us, and anticipation for what lay ahead, we began to look forward to our oncoming 26
