Who can ever forget those last moments when we jammed up to the teacher ' s desk to get a class with our friends or that special chum? There was always the curiosity to see the new teachers and find out how tuff they were going to be. We always had to stop in the halls to chat awhile before rushing to beat that four-minute bell. The crowd in the lunchroom and the rush on the stairs were good excuses to be tardy for that next class. We could never forget the year we became juniors. That meant more homework, more books to read for English class, more class projects, more clubs to join, and more friends to meet. That was the year when MORE seemed to be the password for students and teachers. We had a chance to go to those great football games, to help publish the school paper, to work on the annual, and the greatest chance of all was the thrill and romance of going to the Junior-Senior Prom. At last came the school year of 1962-63; and we ' re seniors, the final accomplishment of four years. The second week of September was so important to us for that was the date when our classrings finally came. English was our greatest class; MACBETH seemed a losing fight, but we won. With the advance of the second semester, many of us began getting ready for the thrill of graduation and the future. We finished our testing program and filled in applications for military service, employment, or college. We proudly finished a wonderful year with a sense of accom¬ plishment, relief, and self-satisfaction. In the years to come, we shall look back on these magic days and say do you remember when..

After four years of hard work, we are the SENIORS OF 1963. We, have waited all these years to get our class rings, to hear Seniors First in assembly, and to be looked up to by the other students. While all these things make us happy, we are in some respects sad . Soon we will be parting, each will go his own way to take his place as a servant to his God and his country. Even though we will be separated as the years go by, we shall never forget all the fun we ' ve had at the dear ' ole T. H. S. 16
