CARL MOTSINGER If it is true, as the poet has said, that I am a part of all that I have met, then our class is richer for having known Mrs. Rose Lightfoot Motsinger. She has exemplified the teachings of the Master in that she has gone about doing goodf, To every civic, church, and school enterprise she has given her time and devotion. A true friend of youth, she has enriched the life of every young person who has known her by living a beautiful life of Christian Courage, Courtesy, Faith, Hope and Charity. She has truly followed the Advice: So live, that when thy summons comes to join The innumerable caravan, which moves To that mysterious realm, 'where each shall take His chamber in the silent halls of death, Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night, Scourged- to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave, Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams. DEAR SEN1oRs: It gives me a feeling of humble gratitude to think that you feel that my life has been of sufiicient worth to dedicate your annual to me. You have bestowed a great honor upon me and I feel very undeserving, but I am sincerely grateful for this expression of your faith in me.
