The Future Homemakers of America is a national or- ganization of girls and boys studying Home Economics in the high schools of the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. The purpose is to help individ uals improve personal, family, and community living now and in the future. Taylorsville High School has one of the most active and largest chapters in the Lou- isville District. Last year, the THS F.H.A. Its major activity each year is the sponsoring of the community- wide French Christmas Service. This year over 300 attended the service. Besides fostering the study of French outside the classroom, the French Club spon- sored an autumn dance for club members, guests, and high school faculty aboard the Belle of Louisville.
