Supcrintvndcntis' Message It is with a great deal of pleasure that 1 extend congratulations to the students and faculty for the development of a fine school spirit, friendliness, and a high type of democratic citizenship, The habits, personal qualities and characteristics, as well as knowledge you are now developing, will help to lessen the prob- lems that you will meet in later life. May success and happiness be yours in the years to come, Sincerely, T, H, Johnson Superintendent of Schools rimivalis' Massage Dear Students: Memories, like dew on a flower, shimmer brightly and then are inclined to fade away, So your high school memo- ries will gradually recede before the bright sun of day to day living until they seem confused and unreal, However, things of beauty and fragility, such as memories, need to be preserved. Here, in THE MALLARD, your memories are preserved for your lifetime, However insignificant and laughable your memories may some day appear to another generation, to you they will always depict the happy, carefree portions of your life--your high school days. God in his wisdom has devised a method of obliterating the distasteful and commemorating the happiness in our memories, Every truly yours, E, G, Osbom Principal J, . W MRS, J, K, MCWHORTER L D.
