TITANS PLACE EIGHTH IN SHORTRIDGE MEET Varsity Cross Country, Front Row: Bob Bagwell, Brad Webber, Dick Williams, Tony Gabriel, Randy Sellers, and Reg Barth. Back Row: Coach Bond, Pete Baker, Keith Myers, Rod Mason, The 1969 Titan Harriers scampered to the best record yet compiled by the squad. Lots of effort and determination were shown as the team sparkled with an eighth place showing in the Shortridge Invitational. Randy Sellers and Tony Gabriel led the way to several victories. Sellers was named the outstanding runner as he compiled the best times ever for Taylor. The future of Taylor ' s cross country stature is brighter as we lost only one letterman, Reg Barth. Reg has led the team for two years and his contributions to the team were always remarkable and will be missed. Roscoe Sparling, Jerry Eckert, Tim Gillespie, and Mgr. Jones.
