...CREATE The Art Club sponsored its first annual Art Show this year. At the Art Show, members sold jewelry which they made. Art Club also sponsored an abstract picture contest. Paul Eckert brought honor to the Science Club this year by winning a first place at the Science Fair in the junior biological division. He was also awarded the Jesse award, which is given to the Science Club member who places highest in the Science Fair. The Jesse award is one of the rubber chickens that adorned the prize-winning homecoming float that the club built. This prize was named after one of the school ' s illustrious science teachers, Mr. Jesse Windlow. As a money making project this year, FHA had a bake sale at two of the shopping centers. Besides making money, they went to Indianapolis to see the movie Hello Dolly . Afterwards, they ate supper at a Chinese Restuarant. FUTURE SECRETARIES— FIRST ROW: M. Gibson, J. Jones, L. Hanley, J. At the school, members learned how to work better with the handicapped. Added to the curriculum this year were the Candy Stripers and Vol Teens. Those members volunteered their time and services to area hospitals. This experi- ence gave members of these two clubs an opportunity to preview their possible vocation.
