The Dramatic and Thespian clubs presented two three-act comedy plays this year. The first, Mother is a Freshman , was put on by both Thespians and Dra- matics. The second, We Shook the Family Tree , an all Thespian play, was held in the spring. The members also held a Christmas skit and a convocation. The convocation consisted of a fake basketball game between the teachers. Mrs. Gemmill was director for both plays. At the end of the year the Thespian club initiated thirty new members and installed the new officers. The 1969-70 officers for Dramatic Club were Rick Frazier, president; Larry Surrisi, vice-president; Sherri Richmond, secretary; and Liz Culross, treasur- er. The new officers for 1970-71 will be Mac Fritz, president; Rick Frazier, vice-president; Zona Wells, secretary; and Chris McCoy, treasurer. The 1970 elected officers of Thespian Club for this year were Debbie Jacobs, president; Nancy Tucker, vice- president; Liz Aldridge, secretary; Suzi Giles, treasur- er; and Sherry Wooley, publicity chairman. Mrs. Gem- mill was sponsor for both clubs. THESPIANS— FIRST ROW: Mrs. Gemmill, sponsor; D. Jacobs. N. Tucker, L. Aldridge, S. Wooley. SECOND ROW: B. Light, S. Richmond, C. Johnson, P. Johnston, M. National Honor Society had a successful year on their money making projects. They sponsored a sock hop and held cake raffles at basketball games. From the proceeds from the raffles they gave away two $100 scholarships; one to Greg Foust and one to Pat Smith. This year seventeen new honor students were ini- tiated into the society. After the initiation all the members and their parents were guests at a reception in the home economics room at school. The new honor society members were treated to dinner by the old members at the Jefferson House. NHS— NEW MEMBERS— FIRST ROW: T. Canter, C. Wil- moth, W. Holm, M. Huber, C. Brown, S. Richmond, S.
