INDUSTRIAL ARTS NAMES Steve Phillip tested his car with an analyzer. Mike Hatfield uses the circular saw in completing his wood project. This year the industrial arts department named two outstanding students. Any junior or senior who had taken three or more industrial arts courses was eligi- ble. The student was required to have a 2.0 overall average, and a 3.0 average in industrial arts. The out- standing senior was Erskine H. Carter. The junior was Carey Dale Harnois. The industrial arts club and regular classes put on the Annual Taylor ' s Industrial Arts open house. During this time the public viewed the industrial arts facilities, demonstrations and projects made by the students. A new industrial arts course was offered this year, Graphic Arts II. This pertained to how photography was related to the printing industry. The text used by this class was Graphic Arts Procedures by Karch.
