CONVOS BREAK ROUTINE During the sectional, the Titans performed a burial of the West- ern Panthers. The convocations this year ranged from the darkest corners of Africa to the darkest corners of the mind. Uncle Walt guided the students on an expedition into the jungles of Africa. He explained the marriage customs of the natives and the inconveniences of living in the jungle. During his presentation he demonstrated how to play various primitive musical instruments. 0. G. Fitzgerald, an expert of the mind, pointed out the fact that everyone has an equal capacity to memo- rize. After meeting a group of twenty-five students, he was able to recall all of their names after an hour. The pep sessions not only gave the students a mental break from studying, but also prompted the enthusi- asm needed to boost the Titans to victories. The com- petition between classes for the spirit jug aroused the emotion of each Titan fan. A hug from Tony Fontain brightens the day for Cerice Lee. The refs seemed unfair in the mock-Howard County Tourney.
