The girls also go swim- ming, have a gymnastic team, and a track team. The girls are sponsored by Miss Oyler, who is making some real fine athletes out of the girls. Girls Can Be Athletes Too!

Student Council Has An Active Year STUDENT COUNCIL-FIRST ROW: Mr. Britton, sponsor; Ned Hoover, president; John Stutzman, vice-president; Cindy Brown, secretary-treasurer. SECOND ROW: Mary Campbell, Fred Rodkey, Monica Hudelson, Patty O ' Hara, Ann Maple, Cindy Swain. THIRD ROW: Wendell Beals, Jim Coning, Colette Teegarden, Debbie Strommen, Tim Moor- croft, Tony Gabriel. ROW FOUR: Rick Roe, Greg Foust, Paul Jones, Mike Jennings, Jim Lawless, Norman Cosand. One of the many activities the high school stu- dent council organized this year was Career Day. During Career Day, men and women from various professions and businesses talked to students about a possible future career for them. The student councU also sponsored a Parent ' s Night. The par- ents found out what their son or daughter does each day at school. The student council also spon- sored a sock hop and an orientation day for the sixth grade classes.
