Two Graphic Arts classes made hand-constructed paper for a class project, under the supervision of Mr. Gemmill. A completely hand-made notebook was then kept by each student. In the notebook was a copy of every project assigned during the year. Graphic Arts is a two semester course in which the students learn the production and quality of paper. Throughout the year the students also learn about the different types of ink, and the techniques of photography and printing. This year ' s Power and Transportation class tore down a 1960 Chevy. After tearing down the car, the chasis and engine were cleaned. Later, the various parts were painted different colors for teaching aid purposes. Fred Barber displays a model home which he built for a class project. Fred was also named an Outstanding Industrial Education Student this year.

Graphic Arts Classes Make Paper In power and transportation class, Jim and Mike learn through working on various parts of a car as well as studying them. As a student assistant, Dick Blazier printed programs for var- ious activities throughout the school year. Dick was also named an Outstanding Industrial Education Student.
