The passage through the straits was made during the afternoon to give those with cameras the opportunity to capture the most , impressive volcanoes in the islands on film. After sunset the waters were filled with fishing boats, small freighters, and other assorted navigational hazards. With our own Magellan leading his navigation team, the ship' entered Subic Bay on schedule 1 . . . in the rain.
