Principal Being a school principal is not an easy job. It takes a special type of man - a man who is determined to do what is right and what is in the best interest of his students. Most of all it takes a man who is devoted to his work and TCHS, we have that kind of man - Dr. Ron Stone. He is totally aware of the students' needs and very much a pan of our school system. His outstanding charac- ter and unfailing humor are but two reasons why he deserves a great deal of appreciation and respect from our students and staff. Assisting Dr. Stone with the many administrative tasks of TCHS is the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Arbutus Blankenship. She has been associated with TCHS since 1953 when she joined the staff as a classroom teacher. Since then she has served effectively as Dean of Girls and Principal of TCHS. During this term she is filling the new position of Assistant Principal. She has been a loyal and hardworking member of our staff. Also a member of our staff, Mrs. Margaret Hamby has loyally served as office manager since 1945. Another prominent member is Mrs. Ella Mae Heartsfield. Mrs. Heartsfield joined our staff as secretary in 1973. 20
