THE PLAN OF SUBSTITUTION is accom- plished by assigning each member to a certain teacher for whom they do any work that teacher needs or wants done. Grading papers, keeping classes, and entering grades in gradebooks are tasks whose completion is most often de- sired. There is also a annual teaching day on which all senior club members keep classes for a whole day for some specified teacher. LUNCHEONS are held to group the members together so that they may discuss future pro- jects and activities. A PROJECT to raise money for a $75 scholarship to be given to a senior member at the close of the year for her outstanding mem- bership while in the club has been proposed.
