Tallahassee, Florida June 12, I960 Dear Mrs. Robinson, Do you remember what happened on this night ten years ago? Yes, that's right we graduated from T. C. H. S. Remember how we all felt coming out of the gymnasium in our caps and gowns? Some were glad it was all behind us; some felt sad at the thoughts of never going to school there again; and yes, some of us were shedding silent tears. It really is amazing that forty-eight people could have scattered in the course of ten years as we have. Billy Lilliott, who now owns the Trot A Way Riding Club, has as a regular visitor Anita Faye Brown, who is trying to regain her school-girl figure. Four are now on the radio. Keats Washburn taken Frank Sinatra’s place on Hit Parade, Bertha Strickland and Jimmie Greene have replaced George Burns and Grade Allen, and Benard Brinson does a commercial for Hadacol . Ted and Fred Lehman, retired millionaires made their money in the contest, Which Twin Has the Toni, under the management of Alvin Hightower. Among the faculty of T. C. H. S. is Lamar Strickland teaching English; LaVonne Forehand teaching typing; LaMarion Mattair teaching Latin, Mary Anne Lundy teaching Home Economics; and Billy Davis as coach. Bill Brown, operating the Kaiser-Frazier Company, has as salesmen Johnny Graham and Kelly Durden and as his secretary, Anne Mixon. Harvey Fleet, managing the store, Fleets on the Square, has hired Betty Ferns to keep books and Lillie Merle Cruce as window display artist. Betty Kasell, who owns the Temple Theatre, has built a free summer resort at Keaton Beach for students of T. C. H. S. Imogene Maddox and Edith Parker are co-owners of the T. C. H. S. Beauty House with their slogan, Eat More and Stay Slim . Since Virgil Taylor took Jack Roper's place at the Perry Swimming Pool, he has hired Author Jean Morgan as swimming instructor. Having left her position as teller of the Perry Banking Company to Dorothy Jean Holton, Jimmie Lee Courtney is happily married. Jo Ed Hart is now running the Foley Drug Store, and Gary and Handin Dorman are the well-known Dorman Lawyers. Warren Ferrell and Reginald Hall are operating elevators in the Empire State Building in New York City. Sherrill Dansby and Frank Warren are in Hollywood under contract to Metro- Goldwyn Mayer as stage set designers for the new picture June Bride—Taylor County Style . The stars of this show are Jackie Avarez and Joyce Cox. Lois Turnage and Betty Revels are in Paris on vacation; Mary Carey is in Egypt trying to discover why pyramids were built; Doyle Revels and Wilbur Cone are in Dark Ridge. Tennessee, working on plans for the Atom Bomb II: Charles Shinholser is now in Chicago, becoming famous for his book, How to Attract Women, and Billy Starks is one of his regular visitors; Billy Martin is author of the column. Advice for the Lovelorn, of the Florida Times Union and dipping turpentine after hours, and James Sauls is running for United States presidency on a Democratic ticket. It's so very hard to close, because I could talk about our class for hours, but close I must. Maybe I'll see you soon. Love, JETTIE RODGERS, Class Prophetess, 1950 p. S. You knew that I'm in charge of the Home Economics Division of F. S. U. didn't you?
