GIgM Will We, the Class of '49, being of sound mind and character, do, hereby, declare this to be our last will and testament in form as follows: We leave to the: Faculty—Intelligent and well mannered students. Juniors—The largest Senior Class in Taylor High's history. Sophomores—Our good grades in English. Freshmen—Understanding teachers. As individuals we bequeath the following: I, Hubert Andrews, will my ability to take it slow and easy to Virginia Mann. I, Malloy Andrews, leave my freckles to Rachel Sadler. I, Jackie Baxter, leave my energetic way to anyone in need of it. I, Doris Brown, bequeath my fluttering eyelashes to anyone in need of them. I, Shelton Burford, will my neatness to Lamar Parker. I, Betty Dale Callicott, will my ability to play basketball to my sister, Claudette. I, Melvin Capell, bequeath my source of knowledge (Doris Brown) to Johnny Graham. I, Joe Carlton, bequeath my conduct to J. M. Lee. I, Billy Chesser, bequeath my beautiful, black, curly hair to Phillip Stephens. I, Betty Lou English, will my slow walk to anyone in need of it. I, Ralph Gamble, will my ability to hunt on school holidays to Wilbur Cone. I, Charles Goodman, will my ability to speak Spanish to Don Dansby. I, Jimmy Guess, will my ability to sell ads for the annual to Billy Martin. I, Sammie Gunter, will my ability to be manager to Bobby Joe McIntyre. I, Betty Jean Hendry, will my ability to be neat to anyone. I, Herbert Hendry, will my parking spots to Jimmy Greene. I, Patsy Henry, will my extreme weight to Alvin Hightower. I, Mae Belle Hunter, will my ability to jitterbug to Velma Ruth Folsom. I, Jean Keller, will my studious ways to Frank Warren. I, Elza Landry, will my punctuality to Robert Swain. I, Harriet Lockhart, will my cover girl figure to Anita Faye Brown. I, Dolores Hardin, will my silly way to Lois Turnage. I, Jo Ed Whiddon, will my size to Irene Mantzanas. I, Carolyn McLeod, leave my interest in the army to anyone who wants it. I, Juanita McIntyre, do bequeath my ability to catch a man to Jimmie Louise Gibson. I, Wistalone Young, will my wedding ring to Julia Ann Andrews. I, Elaine Thompson, bequeath my most conceited nature to Anita Faye Brown. I, J. B. Tedder, will my bashfulness to Billy Martin. I, Nelda Faye Woods, do will my ability to be friendly to everyone to Harvey Fleet. I, Betty Rae Vana, bequeath my ability to have two boy friends at one time and get by with it to La Marian Mattair.
