THE STUDENT COUNCIL OF TAYLOR COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL Preienti . . . VOLUME V... 73he 1947 TACOHI FOREWORD It school spirit has any tangible ex- pression, we feel that comradeship, laughter, work, and pleasure of Chris- tian fellowship most nearly ap- proach it. We believe that the work- ing together, laughing together, and __________________ sharing ideals with each other are the very essence of school spirit and are ——————— the expressions of youth learning and growing. Christian fellowship is the basis from which all this grows, for all working laughing, and playing to- gether is based upon the realization of that which is human, gentle, hopeful, and thoughtful in our fellow students. School spirit without this becomes a hollow sounding of brass in which there is no meaning or pride. It has been our endeavor, in the 1947 Tacohi, to capture some of that which is the school spirit of Taylor County High School. We have taken not only the academic, but also the extra-curricular. We have tried to capture that spirit, we say, with the hope that upon reopening your 1947 Tacohi, those memories of your school days may always ring back to you CONTENTS Administration Faculty The Seniors As They Were Classes Organizations Sports Features Advertisements A.
