One problem - Jumbo doesn't,swim. Seeing this, SK2 Welsh jumped from the gundeck into the water where a worried Hawkins, SN Strucek, and BMl Austin soon joined him. Jumbo was given a line, and DC1 Pettijohn, BM3 Chitty, and SN Thumme, after one un- successful effort, hauled him aboard the Hollister, the inboard ship. Jumbo, terrified by the thought of falling in again, now refused to recross our brow, but P.J. and others, to conclude the res- cue, half dragged and half carried him aboard and put him to bed. . . . . .
