TATES CREEK'S GIRLS' TEAM PLACES THIRD IN STATE The Tates Creek Girls' Golf team finished third in the state golf tournament behind second-place Lafayette, a team the girls had de- feated twice previously. Carol Lear had the best score for the Com- modores with a two-day total of 172. Barbara Lear and Nancy Ziegler each carded a 198 while Nancy Comell finished with a 222.
