Completion ot wing, rooms clue by June Next year Rebels will be returning to a bigger and better building as the new vocational wing along with the new band and choir rooms are completed. The additions are due for completion sometime around June. The vocational wing will be parallel to the present north wing. Rooms are to be built according to each class' specific needs and will include several teaching aids otherwise not practical without more space. I think it will be great, if we ever get it finished. The bad weather has slowed it down a little, com- mented Mrs. Laura Huckabey, vocational counselor. We're all anxiously awaiting its completion. With the new vocational wing, it will be possible to enlarge the auto mechanics department and also add new programs to the agenda at Tascosa. Band and choir rooms are to be located near the southwest corner of the old band room by the stage entrance. Frank Frisbie, choir director, said, The new choir room will be one of the greatest assets tor rehearsals. Working in this annex has been a handicap with so many students in each class. For several years the choirs have been meeting in annex Q. Construction of the new vocational wing was under way early in the school year. Band and choir rooms are also being built. f t .. , at THS' commons became a temporary junk-yard as garage-bake sale combined the efforts of choir, band and drama students to raise money to perform The Nutcracker 24 STUDENT LIFE
