Promote Eorly Enthusiosm Among Rebs Football practices, class officer elec- tions, Nliss Southern Bell nominations. musical rehearsals and marching drills add up to weeks of feverish tension. but gratifying results, as they highlight fall activities at THS. Students are not only busy getting adjusted to the daily routine of class- work, but are anticipating the year's activities. The hustle bustle of pep rallies, pre- game activities and the final score enhance the season's glory, while tests, themes, hours of studying and burning the midnight oil typify a pupilis eagerness for learning. After a few weeks s0ph0mores,juniors, seniors and faculty unite for the year . . . and for whatever it maybring. Student Council representatives sell tags. Junior and Senior Spirits present skits and make favors in order to boost THS athletic squads. Cheerleaders paint cars before games. Enthusiastic students hang giant posters in the halls. Spirit is in the Honor Society, in the musical, in the choirs and the bands, in the Las Memorials and The Pioneer staffs, in the faculty . . .
