1845 Student r Break Record Enrollment Tascosa opened the school year with the record number of 1845 stu- dents. The rate was fast and furious as 488 seniors, 688 juniors, and 669 sophomores met old friends and made new ones during registration. Each student lost no time in getting back into the swing of things and re- capturing his school pride, team spirit, and Rebel enthusiasm which were forgotten during the summer vacation. Seniors were eager for the year ahead, but regretted that three years had passed so quickly. Juniors waited anxiously for the year to pass so they could become seniors, and sophomores learned about Tascosa's traditions. with MAYBE IF YOU DROPPED A HANDKERCHIEF Susan Kaboth and Jan Bowen dread walking back to class to deliver books. AND THE MATERIAL IS EVEN IMPORTED . . . Clay Thomas, drum major, tries to drum up business in selling Rebel pennants.
