FOREWORD To record in picture and story the colorful events of our high school days: to recall the pleasant memories and enduring friendship of the past: and to remind us of the challenges of the future has been the aim and purpose of The Wildcat Staff. If, in the dim and distant future, cherished memories of our days here at Tarrant High School may be awakened by these pages, so that we may once again relive our happy school days, then indeed our work shall not have been in vain, and we shall feel amply repaid for our efforts. We extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to the faculty and students of our school for their cooperation in helping us to produce this book. MR. ROLAND GREEN During his three and one-half years with us, Mr. Green, teacher, composer and director of music, and sponsor of the Student Council, has labored unceasingly for our progress, and his place is high in the hearts of the students and patrons of Tarrant High School. It is with sincere appreciation of his sendees to our school and profound admiration of his sterling character that we dedicate to him this volume of The Wildcat. 3 ALMA MATER Hail to thee, our lima Muter.
