Pionists Produc Electronic Sounds Electronic sound invaded music classrooms through an innovative Wurlitzer electronic piano system con- sisting ot a teacher piano-communication center and six student electronic pianos. Operating on the same principal as a language lab complete with lab earphones, the system enabled in- structors to teach several students with each pupil pro- gressing at his own speed. Ot Thee I Sing, the student production ot George Gershwins musical satire on political campaigns, was presented in the Carillon Theater in the tall, The produc- tion used slides and abstract settings to create the con- tused political ettect and demonstrate the influence ot the multimedia Other South Campus theater productions included I Remember Mama, The Lesson, and The New Tenant, Mediums ranging from wool yarn to cooper ottered expressive devices tor student artists, ln courses of de- sign, lite, and painting, realists sketched such obiects as buildings, live models and tlowers. Members of the Mciclrigals, A Cappella Choir, and TCJC Singers performed in Turandot, the third production of the Fort Worth Opera Guild.
