English and history instructors could request the taping at a commercial show to be used for their stu. dents at ci later time, and a mobil television unit with three cameras could be dispatched anywhere to record interviews with authors or sessions ot the legislature. To assist instructors, instructional media and librciry statis helped produce video-tapes, tilmstrips, trans- parencies, and other aids to make learning more effective. In addition, the four lecture halls in the Science Building were equipped with review projection with control panels on the instructors cleslf so that he could lace the class while manipulating the controls. The language laboratory had 30 positions that en- abled all the class to speak at one time and allowed the instructor to assist individual students without disturbing other members ol the class. The Media statt consisted of three and one-half protessionals, a tull-time technician, a fulltime secretary, and 28 student assistants Students helped in production, repair, delivery, television, and the PLC.
