Chaired by Glenda Oliver, the committee was responsible tor planning the unique games, contests, and social events ot the year The committee began its work during Howdy Week, -E lt with the preparation ot the l-lowdy Week Student i-acu y Talent Show. The committee was also in charge ot a special western day including games ot chug-a-lug, egg t s, and tug-ot-war. h os As tall arrived, powder putt football made t e scene. The committee defeated their freshmen opponents T2eO, Special Events then sponsored a bicycle race, and Christmas decoration activity in the Sub.
