Pulitzer Prize winner, Dr. John Carroll, movie and television consultant, spoke in March on Why Movies Aren't What They Used To Be, Bill Hendricks, Star- Telegram reporter, related some experiences in Vietnam, History instructor, Relay Cary, spoke on the historical role ot the Negro in the US. Cciry hcis developed ci series ot transparencies on American history that treat the roles of all racial groups equally. German native Hans Kurkowski, German instructor, spoke about Hitler and living under dictatorship, A maior activity was a visit to the Convention Cen' ter to take part in a nationwide closed circuit ciuestione and answer session with the Presidential Cabinet A scholarship vvcis offered to history students as a club proiect to spark interest in teaching.
