Their proof included a Charlie Brown Halloween social, a breakfast for their favorite professors, and a Christmas banquet at Jetton's cafeteria. Club members also participated in a mid-winter retreat held at the Santa Fe ski basin, a spring fling at Hardin-Simmons University, a November dillibop, and a leadership train- ing conference also at Hardin-Simmons. The clubs 50 members met at least once a week for devotions and programs. Phil Hughes served as di- rector, Dr. Robert Platt, Sandy Sullivan, and Mrs, Jewel Conniff were the faculty advisors. Among the yecir's activities, the club scheduled a program by Bill Pearson's musical group from the Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth. The group attended the State Convention which was also held at the Travis Avenue church, Officers were James Graville, president, and Glenda Oliver, secretary.
